Premium Business Litigation Solutions
I am Marc D. Ashley, a highly seasoned, skilled and versatile litigator with over 25 years of experience, who launched MDA Litigation after having worked at several of New York City’s premier law firms. Prior to establishing MDA Litigation, I was a partner in the commercial litigation group at a global law firm.
I have represented companies, individuals, and directors and officers in various types of complex litigation, encompassing both smaller-scale and bet-the-company cases, across a wide range of clients in diverse industries, from a bilateral perspective on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
My practice focuses on contract disputes, bankruptcy litigation, securities litigation, shareholder derivative litigation, corporate governance, antitrust class action litigation, and other business-related disputes. I have first- or second-chaired more than a dozen trials and arbitrations, and have extensive courtroom experience from pretrial practice through appeal or settlement.
At MDA Litigation, I offer the same high-quality representation as top law firms, but can do so for clients in a more efficient, streamlined and affordable fashion. As a sophisticated solo practitioner, I can litigate aggressively, free of the bloated and hierarchical team structures of larger firms. Drawing on my experience, skill and versatility, I can handle the entirety of a commercial dispute from beginning to resolution, or act as conflicts counsel or co-counsel in major cases in coordination with larger firms.
For almost three decades, I have litigated successfully with and against the best attorneys in New York City. I will continue to do so at the highest level at MDA Litigation, where I can help address and resolve your most challenging disputes.
